During the school year, please join us for an exploration of the Bible and a lively discussion of various topics and on the first and second Sundays of each mother after the 9:30 AM worship service.

Calls from God
In our Midst
Join us the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month to explore how God calls each of us to serve in our own special way.
Session 1– September 15th– Introduction: Calls that come in all shapes and sizes
Session 2– October 6th– Called to the Priesthood (Speaker)
Session 3– October 20th– Called to travel to distant lands
Session 4– November 3rd– Called to Missions and Service (Amy Beckwith)
Session 5: November 17th– Called despite our weaknesses
Session 6: December 1st– Call stories from our altar– Becki Dean and Rev. Michael Stone
Session 7: December 8th– Clergy presentation: Advent Program
Session 8: December 15th– The choice to listen to our call

Please bring a covered dish to share. We will begin at 6:30 PM with a potluck supper and begin our program at 7:15 PM.
The Book Club
Join us for our next book discussion on Tuesday, September 21st, at 5:00 PM. The book we are reading is Stones Into Schools, by Gregg Mortenson.
Bring a bag supper and join us for lively conversation! Dessert will be provided. We meet in the Choir/Vestry Meeting Room and look forward to seeing you.
The Diocesan Bookstore
The Parish Bookstore is the diocesan bookstore for the Diocese of Southern Virginia. We have gifts, books, music, cards and stationery, church supplies and Episcopal logo items. Please remember the bookstore when you are shopping. If the bookstore does not stock a desired item, we are happy to order and ship it to you. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Wednesday 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM to noon.
