Hawthorne Cancer Center
The CJW Johnston-Willis Campus is home to The Hawthorne Cancer Resource Center, a high-tech resource center for cancer patients. Considered a sanctuary, it offers cancer education as well as social and emotional support. Support groups, yoga classes, book and knitting clubs and more are offered there.
Manakin Episcopal sends monetary donations to Hawthorne, plus we have several members of the congregation who volunteer there.
