Daughters of Zelophehad
The Daughters of Zelophehad (DOZ) is a transitional housing programfor homeless women and their children based in the Richmond, VA area. The existing home is in Chesterfield County. DOZ is an ecumenicalChristian based ministry. Eligible families may live in the homefor up to two years. During this time, these women and children receivethe education, training and spiritual support they need to prepare them for independent living.
Manakin Episcopal works closely with the DOZ to provide gifts and food at Thanksgiving and Christmas. We also have been involved with various fund-raisers they have sponsored.
