Altar Guild

Currently there are 25 women serving on the Manakin Church Altar Guild. The Guild prepares the church and altar for worship services, including baptisms, weddings, funerals and any special services. The Altar Guild provides direct support to wedding parties during the rehearsal and ceremony.

Thank you to all the members of the Altar Guild who work hard to make sure the Church looks its best for services each week. We are always looking for new members, so if you are interested in finding out more about Altar Guild or if you are ready to join us, please contact the church office. Two members coordinate six teams rotating during the course of the year. On-the-job training is provided with much support and encouragement to anyone who would like to participate in this important and rewarding ministry of the church.
